Day 01: Arrival in Mumbai- On arrival at the Mumbai International airport, get transferred to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. You can interact with the locals, gorge on lip-smacking street food, enjoy fun activities at the famous beaches. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai- Post breakfast on day 2, leave your hotel to explore the Elephant caves, located in also known as the City of Caves. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was carved between 6th and 7th centuries. Cave number 1 is the most imposing one and is a depiction of the Brahmanical rock-cut architecture. Back to Mumbai by noon. Continue with sightseeing covering Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India, Hanging Gardens and Juhu beach. Night stay in Mumbai.
Day 03: Mumbai - Chennai (by air)- On the 3rd day of the tour, post breakfast, get transferred to the airport to board a flight for Chennai. Once you reach, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Have lunch and proceed for sightseeing in Chennai covering Amir Mahal the official residence of the Royal family of Arcot, Arignar Anna Zoological Park a zoological garden that is also known as Vandalur zoo, Fort Museum, Snake Park and finally Marina Beach. Stay overnight.
Day 04: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Chennai (75 kms)- Post breakfast, leave for a day-trip to Kanchipuram, a small city of the southern region of India, housing several ancient temples. Spend the entire day in visiting some of the most beautiful temples. There are around 18 Vaishnava temples and 108 Shiv temples. You can also visit its popular handloom, cotton and silk emporiums to shop for some amazing saris. Back to Chennai for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Chennai - Mahabalipuram (58 kms)- On the 5th day of the tour, post breakfast, begin driving to Mahabalipuram. Once you reach, check in your hotel. Later, leave for visiting the popular tourist attractions that include the Shore Temple - an 8th century temple built from granite blocks, Varaha Cave temple a rock-cut cave temple that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Arjuna's Penance - built during the 7th century, this structure is also known as the Descent of Ganges. Stay Overnight.
Day 06: Mahabalipuram- Once you have breakfast, spend the rest of the day in doing the activities of your interest- you can explore the surroundings on foot, indulge in fun activities on the beach, taste the local renditions and interact with the locals. Overnight in Mahabalipuram.
Day 07: Mahabalipuram - Thanjavur (300 kms)- On day 7, after breakfast, begin driving to Thanjavur. Complete the check-in formalities once you arrive. In the afternoon, leave for a city tour covering popular attractions like Archaeological Museum, Brihadeeswarar Temple a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dedicated to Lord Shiva and more. Overnight stay.
Day 08: Thanjavur - Swamimalai (35 kms)- Post breakfast, hit the road to Swamimalai. Once you reach, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Indulge in activities of your interest- gorge on local delicacies, explore the surroundings on foot, and interact with the locals etc. Stay overnight.
Day 09 - 13: Swamimalai (Ayurvedic Treatment)- Days 9 to 13, after breakfast, are for relaxing and rejuvenating your tired mind, body and soul. The days are going to be free for Yoga, Ayurveda and Spa activities. At a popular spa in Swamimalai, you indulge in various Ayurvedic treatment, body massages, beauty therapies, Yoga and meditation sessions etc. These sessions are supervised by expert instructors. Next four days are spent in taking Ayurvedic treatments at the spa in Swamimalai. This makes you completely refreshed and rejuvenated. The meals that you intake are high on nutritional value. Day 14: Swamimali - Trichy (75 kms)- Today, after breakfast, begin driving to Trichy. After you reach, check in your pre-booked hotel. Later, proceed for sightseeing including Rock Fort temple- erected during the 7th century, it is also known as Ucchi Pillayar Koil, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Ranganatha that is reclining form of Lord Vishnu, Sri Jambukeshwara Temple one of the 5 main temples of Lord Shiva in Tamil Nadu that was erected around 1800 years ago and St. John's Church - built in 1821. Overnight in Trichy.
Day 15: Trichy - Chennai (300 kms)- Day 15 is the last day of the tour, post breakfast, get on-time transfer to the airport to board a flight for Chennai. Once you reach, board another flight to your onward destination.
