The Buddhist ruins and remains lying in Nagarjunkonda, Warangal and Amravati are quite exquisite and important for Buddhists and admirers of art and architecture. 

HYDERABAD- The city of smiles, of lights, of a thousand faces, endearingly called the Pearl City, Hyderabad is located on the southern banks of the river Musi. The city is well known for its rich heritage and culture. The city is not only known for its lip smacking Biryanis but also for its pearls and gemstones which are famous all around the world. Also, the city is home to a number of IT firms and pharmaceutical companies which makes it a hub for commercial business processes.

WARANGAL- Recognized as one of the best heritage cities of India, Warangal is situated 145 km away from Hyderabad. Warangal was accorded World Heritage city status by UNESCO and Government of India's Tourism Ministry also recognized the city as the Best Heritage City.  With several temples known for their outstanding architecture and splendid history, known for their granite quarries made of blue granite, Warangal attracts many tourists.

VIJAYWADA- Vijayawada, located in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh is surrounded by water bodies on its three sides and a mountain on the fourth side, giving the city a splendid scenic beauty. Vijayawada literally means "City of Victory'. It is the biggest city in the district and 3rd largest city of the state. The city is also famous by the name Bezawada and is famous for its juicy mangoes, a wide variety of sweet delicacies and numerous beautiful springs.

VISHAKHAPATNAM- Visakhapatnam, also commonly known as Vizag, is one of the oldest port cities in the country. Situated in the heart of Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam is known for its picturesque beaches and serene landscape, as well as a rich cultural past, which makes it an ideal spot for a fantastic coastal vacation.

DAY 1: HYDERABAD

Arrive to The City of Nazams- Hyderabad and later transfer to the hotel. After freshen up start sightseeing tour of the city

CHARMINAR- Charminar is the most prominent landmark located right in the heart of Hyderabad. The monument was erected when Quli Qutb Shah shifted his capital from Golconda to Hyderabad. It got its name from its structure as it consists of four minarets.

RAMOJI FILM CITY- Set up by Ramoji Rao, the head of Ramoji group in 1996, the Ramoji Film City is beautiful holidays get away with cinematic themes in the happening city of Hyderabad. 

HUSAIN SAGAR LAKE- Renowned as Asia's largest artificial lake, the Hussain Sagar Lake is one of the most popular tourist hotspot situated in Hyderabad. The lake itself was built by Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah in 1563 during the rule of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah.

GOLCONDA FORT- Situated in the Western part of the beautiful city of Hyderabad at a distance of near about 9 km from Hussain Sagar Lake, the Golkonda fort is spread over an area of three square kilometres which is 4.8 kilometres in length. This mighty fort falls in the list of the most humongous fortresses of India.

DAY 2: HYDERABAD - NAGARJUNASAGAR DAM- HYDERABAD

Today morning go for an excursion to Nagarjuna Sagar Dam.

NAGARJUNA SAGAR DAM- Somewhere between the city of Hyderabad and a district called Guntur in Andhra Pradesh is one of India's earliest and largest dams. It is also the second largest dam in the world, built entirely of rock. The attractions that one must not miss while here is an island in the reservoir called Nagarjuna Konda, a Buddhist museum and many excavations and relics related to the Buddhist civilization.

Later return back to Hyderabad. In the evening one can shop around and spend leisure time.

DAY 3: HYDERABAD - WARANGAL

Today drive to Heritage City of India- Warangal. Transfer to hotel. After freshen up, visit

THOUSAND PILLARS TEMPLE- The temple is located at the base of Hanamkonda hill. It was built in 12th century by the Kakatiya King Rudra Deva. Dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva, this temple is also known by the name of Sri Rudreshwara Swamy Temple. At this temple, three deities- Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Surya are worshipped. 

WARANGAL FORT- Built in 13th century, Warangal Fort is a perfect example of architectural fineness of Kakatiya reign. Warangal fort was built by the King Ganapati Deva and was later developed further by his daughter Rani Rudrama Devi.

PAKHAL LAKE- A manmade lake, Pakhal Lake was built around 1213 AD during the Kakatiya reign by King Ganapati Deva. It was built for the irrigational purposes. Spread across 30 sq km, this lake is surrounded by the refreshing greenery of dense forest. Adding to its beauty is the Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary which is just next to the lake. One can see deer roaming freely in the surrounding as well as other animals such as jackals, wolf, panthers, sloth bear, tigers, porcupines, etc. The wildlife sanctuary also houses a wide variety of reptiles.

RAMAPPA TEMPLE- Located around 77 km away from Warangal city, Ramalingeswara Temple was built in 1213 AD during the Kakatiya rule. It is dedicated to Lord Rama Lingeswara, it was constructed by King Ganapati Deva. Also known as Ramappa Temple it is named after its sculptor Ramappa.

DAY 4: WARANGAL - VIJAYWADA

Today drive to Vijaywada. Transfer to hotel. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the city

DAY 5: VIJAYWADA - AMRAVATI

After breakfast, go for city sightseeing of Vijaywada along with excursion to Amravati a Buddhist settlement

KANAKA DURGA TEMPLE- The Temple is a famous shrine dedicated to the Goddess Durga. Located in Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh, this astounding architecture is built in Dravidian fashion. The temple is surrounded by the gentle hills of Inrakeeladri, right along the banks of the Krishna River. This ancient temple finds mention in many sacred texts and Vedic literature as well and is a revered temple among devotees and followers. 

AMRAVATI- Amaravati is a small town located on the banks of Krishna River. It is about 33 kilometres from Vijayawada and has historical importance. It used to be the site of an ancient Buddhist settlement, which was known as Chintapalli.

UNDAVALLI CAVES- The Undavalli Caves date back to the 7th century BC and are prime example of rock-cut architecture. The caves are about 8 kilometres from Vijayawada and offer a unique perspective into ancient religious practices. The caves are carved out of sandstone on the side of a hill. While there are many caves, the largest is the one that is most popular for its huge monolith of Lord Vishnu in the reclining posture.

MOGALARAJAPURAM CAVES- These are ancient caves, dating back to 5th century and one of the most significant landmarks of the heritage of Vijayawada. Though a lot has been lost to ruins, the caves still hold religious and spiritual value as they house idols of Lord Nataraja and Lord Vinayaka amongst many more, a few cave temples and a shrine for Goddess Durga.

DAY 6: VIJAYWADA - VISHAKAPATNAM

In the morning, drive to Visakhapatnam. Transfer to hotel. In the evening stroll around the beach in the evening.

DAY 7: VISHAKAPATNAM DEPARTURE

Day free for leisure and in the evening depart at Vishakhapatnam Airport to catch flight onward.
