OVERVIEW- Bagdogra, a small and tranquil town located in the northern part of West Bengal is a gateway to the famous hill station, Darjeeling. This place is situated just a few kilometers short of the Himalayan range and has a low hilly terrain which provides it with a serene and scenic environment of its own. Lush green tea gardens, hilly terrain, verdant meadows and a beautiful township provide a picturesque view to visitors here. The Teesta River flows near this town which adds to the beauty of the place. This town is famous for its calm environment, tea plantations and various festivals organized on the banks of River Teesta. Scenic views of the eastern range of the Himalayas attract tourists from all over the world.

BAGDOGRA- Bagdogra in West Bengal is small town heavenly view of the great eastern Himalayan range. It is well connected by air from with Delhi and Kolkata. It lays approximately 90 kms from Darjeeling town. Being a tea growing area it attracts tourists from all over world to have a spectacular array of tea. It also offers adventure sport such as fishing and angling and white water rafting in the rapids of the Teesta River.

DAY 1: BAGDOGRA

Welcome at Bagdogra Airport / Siliguri Railway Station. Transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or you can go for a leisure walk around the place.

DAY 2: BAGDOGRA

After breakfast visit the beautiful city of Bagdogra

MAHANANDA WILDLIFE SANCTUARY- This is the forest reserve is situated between River Mahananda and River Teesta. It got the status of a sanctuary in 1959 to protect the Indian bison and royal Bengal tiger, which were facing the threat of extinction It is also home to very endangered birds like Rufous-necked Hornbill, Oriental Pied Hornbill, Great Hornbill etc.

CORONATION BRIDGE- The Bridge is the gateway to the beautiful north-eastern region. It is situated on the outskirts of Siliguri and connects Darjeeling on one end to Jalpaiguri on the other. This bridge is not only a sparkling remnant of architecture inspired by the Roman empire but also offers a panoramic view of the Teesta river flowing underneath.

KALI MANDIR- Sevokeshwari Kali Mandir is located near the Coronation Bridge and is at a distance of nearly 36 km from Bagdogra. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and is of high significance to the people. From the premises of the temple, one can see the beautiful view of the peaks of Kanchenjunga.
