It lays approximately 90 kms from Darjeeling town. Being a tea growing area it attracts tourists from all over world to have a spectacular array of tea. It also offers adventure sport such as fishing and angling and white water rafting in the rapids of the Teesta River.

CORONATION BRIDGE- The Bridge is the gateway to the beautiful north-eastern region. It is situated on the outskirts of Siliguri and connects Darjeeling on one end to Jalpaiguri on the other. This bridge is not only a sparkling remnant of architecture inspired by the Roman empire but also offers a panoramic view of the Teesta river flowing underneath.
KALI MANDIR- Sevokeshwari Kali Mandir is located near the Coronation Bridge and is at a distance of nearly 36 km from Bagdogra. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and is of high significance to the people. From the premises of the temple, one can see the beautiful view of the peaks of Kanchenjunga.
SALUGARA MONASTERY- Established by Tibetan Buddhist Monks and followers of Dalai Lama, the monastery is famous for the 100 feet stupa founded by the Tibetan Lama, Kalu Rinpoche. This monastery also known as The Great International Tashi Gomang Stupa and is situated just 6 km away from the main town. This monastery also contains five kinds of Buddhist relics.
THE SCIENCE CITY- The North Bengal Science Centre is a highly reputed institution in north Bengal famed for its planetarium and Nature Interpretation Centre.
