OVERVIEW- Champhai is located at a distance 192 kms from capital Aizawl in Mizoram. Champhai boasts of fabulous view of the Myanmar hills as this town is located on Indo-Myanmar border. This city is very special as it is said that Mizo history starts from Champhai and ends in Champhai. The Champhai valley known as "The Rice bowl of Mizoram" located towards the base of the town. A chain of green hills encircle luxuriant rice fields, which add to the beauty of this place. It has unparalleled glory defined by the emerald paddy fields and Blue Mountains engulfed in the sea of mist. AIZAWL- Neatly tucked in the beautiful North East; Aizawl is home to the Mizoram State Museum, along with being the cultural and religious capital of the Mizos. Among one of the oldest cities in the north eastern region of India, with an elevated setting and breathtaking views, Aizawl is a peaceful little town even though it's the capital of the state. It would be probably one of the most peaceful state capitals in India.

CHAMPHAI- Champhai is the pictorial town in Mizoram, the Northeastern state of India. A strategically placed town, Champhai is a beautiful area in Mizoram with scenic hills and a colorful wisp of culture surrounding them. Champhai has a number of tourist attractions other than the enchanting surroundings. Fondly called the Rice Bowl of Mizoram because of the boundless expanse of paddy fields, the town is also considered as the most glittering gem of the states history.

DAY 1: AIZAWL - CHAMPHAI

Welcome at Aizawl Airport. Drive to Rice Bowl of Mizoram- Champhai. Transfer to the hotel. Later take pleasure in the natural setting of the place and enjoy the enchanting view of the Bilauktaung Range of Burma. Evening at leisure or you can go for a leisure walk around the place.

DAY 2: CHAMPHAI

After breakfast visit the beautiful valley of Champhai

RIH DIL- This heart shaped lake is believed to be the passage of souls to the eternal abode. It cannot be visited without prior permission from the Deputy Commissioner's Office.

MURLEN NATIONAL PARK- Spread over 100 sq km with sub tropical evergreen forests, this national park is famous for housing animals like the hoolock gibbon, and the Himalayan Black Bear. Leopards, tigers and many other species are spotted here.

LENGTENG WILDLIFE SANCTUARY- Located very near the Murlen National Park, this sanctuary is home to animals like the barking deer, rhesus macaque, wild boar as well as leopard. Tigers and gorals are also found here.

Day free for leisure and later depart at airport/station to catch your flight/train towards onward destination.
