The Naag (cobra) Temple- The pride of Patnitop is its 600-year-old Naag (cobra) temple. Though small in size, it reflects the faith and reverence shared by millions of Indians all over. The evenings in Patnitop are quite cold. The mountains are covered by fog and visibility can drop to a mere 10 feet. The peak season is during the summer, though end July to August is beautiful and not crowded.
Sudh Mahadev- Sudh Mahadev is an important pilgrimage in the area. Sudh Mahadev is well known for its archaeological importance as a charming natural site. It stands on the banks of the holy Dewak River, held by some to be as sacred as the Ganges. Vaishno Devi- It is located 61 km north of Jammu at a height of 5,200 feet above the sea level in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In the cave there are images of three deities viz. the Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.
