HAMPI - Hampi is a world Heritage Site and the erstwhile capital of the Hindu kingdom of Vijayanagar. This ruined town is guarded by rivers and granite ridges. The travelers from Europe who visited the place at the height of Vijayanagar Empire wrote that the city was as large and as beautiful as Rome.

Today drive to Hampi. Transfer to hotel. Evening free for leisure.

DAY 2: HAMPI
After breakfast, go for visit in Hampi.
VIRUPAKSHA TEMPLE- The temple is located on the banks of the river Tungabhadra and is one of the structures in the Group of Monuments in Hampi, which is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inscriptions on this temple are dated back to the 9th and 10th century. Virupaksha Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a main pilgrimage centre in Hampi and is known as Virupaksha.
KINGS BALANCE- A balance used in the ancient times, to weight the King against the wealth, metals, and food. The five-meter-long tall balance contains three loops on the top and the carvings of the Kings, which is the major attraction.
QUEENS BATH- This 15-metre square bath is enclosed with gallery, verandas and overhanging Rajasthani balconies. The minor waterfall inside the bath was once poured with cool, perfumed water that flowed out through an underground drain.
ELEPHANT STABLES- The stable has a row of 11 chambers and one in the center. The center chamber is grander than the other chambers with its temple-style tower. It is adorned with frescos and carvings. Inside the chambers, one can see metal hooks which were used in tying the elephants.
