OVERVIEW- Srisailam is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva situated on the banks of River Krishna in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the most important pilgrimage centers of Lord Shiva in India. The city is quite famous for its ancient temples, a wildlife sanctuary and a dam. Lies on the ancient sacred hill of Srigiri, the exotic temple of Srisailam is a temple complex date back centuries ago. The unique combination of a major god and goddess shrines under one roof makes Srisailam one of the most exciting holiest sites.

DAY 1: HYDERABAD - SRISAILAM

Today drive to Srisailam. Transfer to hotel. Evening free for leisure.

DAY 2: SRISAILAM

After breakfast, go for Srisailam Temple Tour.

MALLIKARJUNA SWAMY TEMPLE- Perched at a height of 457 meters above sea level, Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple is a major pilgrim spot in the Srisailam town. The sanctum of the Mallikarjuna temple has a shell like structure and it enshrines Lord Mallikarjuna. The Mallikarjuna Temple looks like a large fort and appears like a large fort for the rich and beautiful structures.

SHIKARESWARA TEMPLE- It is located on the highest point of Srisailam known as Sikharam. The region is well-known for its natural views, eye-catching scenarios and beautiful views of the downhill. The temple is dedicated to Sikareswara Swamy, one of the forms of Lord Shiva.

BHRAMARAMBA DEVI TEMPLE- Perched atop of the Nallamala hills, on the southern bank of Krishna River, Bhramaramba Devi Temple is a renowned temple in the hill town of Srisailam. The temple is dedicated to Devi Bhramaramba, the divine consort of Lord Mallikarjuna.

HATHAKESVARA TEMPLE- Situated on the downhill of Srisailam in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, Hathakesvara Temple is an exquisite edifice which enshrines a beautiful Shiva Linga.

SAKSHI GANPATI TEMPLE- The temple is devoted to Lord Ganapati and a black statue of Lord Ganapati is placed inside the temple.

DAY 3: SRISAILAM - HYDERABAD

After breakfast, drive back to Hyderabad. En-route, visit

SRISAILAM DAM- Located in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, Srisailam Dam is a major attraction in the hilly areas of Srisailam. The dam is one of the 12 largest hydroelectric power projects in India. It is a hot-shot tourist spot for those looking forward to some natural views

AKAMAHADEVI CAVES- The cave was the seat of many brutal and secret Saiva divisions like the Kapalikas that fact in ancient medieval literature. It is believed that the Akkamahadevi, the famous lyricist, ascetic and philosopher did forfeit in this cave and worshipped the Sivalinga naturally existed in the deep and dark end of the cave.

Later continue to drive back to Hyderabad to catch your flights/train towards onward destination.
