Vijayawada literally means "City of Victory'. It is the biggest city in the district and 3rd largest city of the state. The city is also famous by the name Bezawada and is famous for its juicy mangoes, a wide variety of sweet delicacies and numerous beautiful springs.

DAY 1: HYDERABAD - VIJAYAWADA
Today drive to Vijaywada. Transfer to hotel. Evening free for leisure.
Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 2: VIJAYWADA
After breakfast, go for city sightseeing of Vijayawada.
AMRAVATI- Amaravati is a small town located on the banks of Krishna River. It is about 33 kilometres from Vijayawada and has historical importance. It used to be the site of an ancient Buddhist settlement, which was known as Chintapalli.
BHAVANI ISLAND- Spread over an area of 133 acres, Bhavani Island is a river island that offers a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is a place to rest, relax and enjoy oneself with its mangroves, well-manicured gardens, pristine woodlands, rolling meadows and shimmering water bodies.
UNDAVALLI CAVES- The Undavalli Caves date back to the 7th century BC and are prime example of rock-cut architecture. The caves are about 8 kilometres from Vijayawada and offer a unique perspective into ancient religious practices. The caves are carved out of sandstone on the side of a hill. While there are many caves, the largest is the one that is most popular for its huge monolith of Lord Vishnu in the reclining posture.
KONDAPALLI FORT- The fort with roots in parallel histories, this one is said to have been built as a center of recreation, business and trade. The main entrance gate, carved out of a single boulder of granite is called the Dargah Darwaja.
MOGALARAJAPURAM CAVES- These are ancient caves, dating back to 5th century and one of the most significant landmarks of the heritage of Vijayawada. Though a lot has been lost to ruins, the caves still hold religious and spiritual value as they house idols of Lord Nataraja and Lord Vinayaka amongst many more, a few cave temples and a shrine for Goddess Durga.

DAY 3: VIJAYAWADA - HYDERABAD
After breakfast, drive back to Hyderabad. En-route, visit Kondapalli Village.
KONDAPALLI VILLAGE- a small village with many hard working artisans working on the Puniki wood and painting them with enamel colours.
Later continue to drive back to Hyderabad to catch your flights/train towards onward destination.
