HARIDWAR- Haridwar is one of the seven holy cities of the Hindus that are also known as Moksapuri or Sapta-Puri. Literally means the gateway to Hari, an epithet for Vishnu, the Creator in the Hindu Trinity of Creator-Preserver-Destroyer. It is also called Gangadwara, because it is near Haridwar that the Ganga, the most sacred river of the Hindus, enters the Great Plains. 

RISHIKESH- It is a peaceful town and is also one of the holiest towns of India. There is a mystical air about the place. A famous centre for yoga (mystical and spiritual training) and meditation, the town is dotted with numerous ashrams which offer yoga and meditation courses.

MUSSORIE- It is among the most popular hill stations of India, and is called the Queen among the hill stations. A hill resort at a height of around 7000 ft above the sea level, straddles a ridge in the Garhwal Himalayas - a region which is developing into a major tourism destination. The holy and mighty river Ganga is visible from one end of the ridge and another famous river Yamuna from the other, a stretch of around twelve miles in all. It has always been a gossipy place - with an air of informality and a tradition of romance - The Honeymoon capital of India.

AULI- Auli is among the best skiing destinations of India. The slopes of Auli are reputed internationally for its thrilling skiing and spectacular views of the snowcapped Himalayas. Snuggled in the Chamoli district in Uttarakhand, the "Bugyal" which means meadow in the regional language is truly breathtaking.

JOSHIMATH- It is a popular hill station and a famous pilgrimage site. It has some ancient temples and other places of tourist interest. Also known as Jyotir Math, it is located in the Chamoli District of Garhwal. During winters, the town becomes home of the Lord Badri, who are brought down from Badrinath to Vasudeva temple at Joshimath.

KAUSANI- Kausani the birthplace of the famed poet Sumitra Nandan Pant is often referred to as the 'Switzerland of India. Nestled in the Kumaoun Himalayas, Kausani in Uttarakhand is one of the serene locales of Uttarakhand. Located at a height of 1890 meters above the sea level, Kausani is surrounded by lush acres of greenery and dense woodlands. 

BINSAR- Binsar in Uttarakhand nestled amidst the beautiful Himalayas is every tourist's dream destination. A few kilometers away from Nainital, Binsar surrounded by Alpine forests, rhododendron trees is your idyllic place for that perfect serene mountain retreat. A small town set in the midst of lush green forests it has plenty of tourist attractions including green meadows, temples and the Binsar wildlife sanctuary.

MUNISIYARI- A small village popularly known as Little Kashmir has an awe-inspiring panorama of snow capped Himalayan Range; offering splendors of nature beauty in their most captivating form, this place is famous for its some highly adventurous and nerve wrecking trekking trails.

PATAL BHUVANESHWAR- This little town is a magical place with several hidden and unexplored aspects to it. Located at an elevation of 1350m above the sea level, this place is tagged as a spiritual place renowned for its Shiva Temple cave.

MUKTESHWAR- Mukteshwar is a small and beautiful hill station deriving its name from Lord Shiva is complete with fruit orchards, coniferous forests and Rolling Meadows at a height of 7500 ft. The hill town is mostly known for adventure sports such as rock climbing, rappelling etc. 

NAINITAL- It is the pride of the Kumaon region in Uttaranchal; Nainital is certainly the most popular tourist destination in Kumaon. It's a pleasant hill station. A popular health resort, scenic beauty, salubrious climate all makes it a rich hill station. The town has a famous lake Naini to which it owes its name. Also the place is a haven for water sports like Yachting, Kayaking, Boating, play ground for other sports and recreation.

DAY 1: DELHI - HARIDWAR/RISHIKESH

Drive to the City of Ganges-Haridwar/Rishikesh. Transfer to hotel. Later visit 

LAXMAN JHULA- Lakshman Jhula, the famous hanging bridge across Ganga, is about 3 km from the main township of Rishikesh. As per mythological tales, once Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama, crossed river Ganga at the same site where the bridge now stands.

HAR KI PAURI- According to the Hindu mythology, it is at Har ki Pauri in Haridwar that king Bhagirath performed a penance to Lord Shiva in order to rescue souls of his ancestors from vicious circle of rebirth. Pleased with his prayers, Lord Shiva asked holy river Ganga to flow through his locks. Bhagirath took a dip in the holy waters of river Ganga and rescued the souls of his ancestors from their sins. Since then, thousands of devotees take a dip at Har ki Pauri to pray for salvation of their ancestors.

TRIVENI GHAT- The ghat is located on the confluence of three holy rivers: Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. It is believed that taking a holy dip in the waters of the triveni confluence can wash off all your sins. Main attraction of the Triveni Ghat is its Maha Aarti that is held during twilight. The aarti and fragrance of incense fills the air with spirituality and mysticism.

ADVENTURE SPORTS- Topography of Rishikesh is blessed with turbulent rivers, getting their energy from various rivulets and tributaries from the glaciers above. These rivers and their nearby areas make excellent spots for adventure sports like White Water Rafting, Canoeing, Trekking, Rock-Climbing / Mountaineering, Camping and Skiing (especially in winters).

DAY 2: RISHIKESH - MUSSORIE

Today drive to the Queen of Hills-Mussoorie. Later transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can walk around the mall road, shopping and take on horse ride.

MALL ROAD- The Mall road is the central hub of the Mussoorie and is a must visit on your trip to the city. It has a bunch of places, couple of things and plenty of activities to do when on a vacation to the Mall Road.

DAY 3: MUSSORIE

In the blush of next morning take on a city tour visiting

CAMEL BACK ROAD- the place offers a picturesque view of the sunset; you can enjoy long walks and horse riding here. Camel's back road is a 3 km long road and is called as the Camel Back Road because of the presence of the natural layout of the rocks that are in the shape of the camel humps.

GUN HILL- A thrilling ropeway rides to Gun Hill, the second highest peak of Mussoorie (2122 mts). The peak offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges. 

KEMPTY FALLS- Kempty Falls is the most famous and one of the oldest tourist places near Mussoorie. Developed before more than 150 yrs ago by a British man, Kempty falls is the most attractive picnic spot or a best day out place nearby Mussoorie at a distance of 15km.

BHATTA FALLS- At a distance of 7 kms, Bhatta Falls is a capital tourist picnic place near the Mussoorie. It is one of the important place where we do lots of enjoy with natures. 

LAL TIBBA- Lal Tibba is the highest point perched at 2,346 meters above sea level. With some adorable and never seen before view of the mountains that house the holy shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath. Lai Tibba gives you a chance observe some of the most graphic views.

MUSSORIE LAKE- The lake is placed at 6km on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road. The Mussoorie Lake was recently developed as a picnic spot by the city board. A beautiful small lake, which is created by a nature waterfall.

DAY 4: MUSSOORIE - AULI

After breakfast, drive to Auli. On the way, halt at Devprayag- the confluence of River Alaknanda and River Bhagirathi, and Rudraprayag- the meeting point of Rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Transfer to hotel. Evening enjoy visit at local market.

DAY 5: AULI

In the morning visit Auli and enjoying Skiing, one of the best winter sports in India. The Ski slopes of Himalayas are pretty challenging and offer breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayan peaks. These slopes are quite popular amid avid-skiers who come here from all around the world. However, if you are a beginner, there are experts to teach you. All the equipment is available on rent here.

DAY 6: AULI - JOSHIMATH - AULI

After breakfast drive for a full day excursion to Joshimath visiting

NARSINGH TEMPLE- This is the winter home for Lord Badri who is shifted here when main temple of Badrinath remains closed from the time of Diwali to Akshay Tritiya. The deity of Lord Vishnu in the form of Narsingh (half human and half lion) is revered in this temple.

SHANKARACHARYA MATH- Believed to be established by the Hindu Guru, Adi Shankaracharya, it is a sacred place housing the temples of Lord Badri and Rajrajeshwari Devi.

In the afternoon return back to Auli

DAY 7: AULI - KAUSANI

Today drive to the Nature's Paradise-Kausani. Later transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can walk around small local market, shopping handmade Kasauni shawls.

DAY 8: KAUSANI

In the blush of next morning enjoy the scenic beauty of Kausani visiting

ANASHAKTI ASHRAM- One of the most popular destinations, this place is also fondly known as Gandhi Ashram. It was during has stay here that Gandhiji's annotations about Anashakti Yog known as 'Geeta Anashakti Yog'.

SUMITRANANDAN PANY MUSEUM- Sumitranandan Pant Museum is a place with an artistic taste and is a whole new world in itself. Dedicated to famous Hindi poet who was born in Kausani, it offers a wide range of his creative work on display from manuscripts of poems and draft work of her literary work to his awards and letters written by and to him.

RUDRADHARI FALLS AND CAVES- At a distance of 12 km from Kausani, bounded by the paddy fields and green pine forests is the spellbinding Rudradhari Falls. Located on the trekking way to Adi Kailash region, one can also explore the mysteries of the ancient caves lying near the falls. According to the legend, this place holds connection with Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. The Shiva Temple of Someshwar lies in the proximity to the waterfalls.

SOMESHWAR TEMPLE- The beautiful valley of Someshwar is most famous for its temple. The presiding deity here is Lord Shiva and is a highly revered temple among locals and believers alike. In addition to its religious significance, this destination also has some picturesque sceneries to offer. 

BAIJNATH TEMPLE- An ancient town of Baijnath, located around 20 km from Kausani is a place adorned with several small and big temples each holding a historic and religious importance.

KASAUNI TEA ESTATE- This is a place where one will feel very close to nature and a paradise for tea lovers. Kausani Tea Estate, situated 5 km away from the main town is spread across the area of 208 hectares.

DAY 9: KAUSANI - BINSAR

Today drive to the small town of Binsar. Transfer to hotel. Later visit

BINSAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY- Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Uttarakhand. This wildlife reserve is quite popular for housing a vast variety of exotic flora and fauna. The other attraction here is mesmerizing sunrise and sunset views. The sanctuary is home to as many as 180 species of birds such as eagles, woodpeckers, monals etc. Jackals, Red Fox, Grey Langurs, Black Himalayan Bear, Chital, Himalayan Goral and Wild boars are a part of the wildlife at Binsar. There is a place called Zero Point in sanctuary from where wonderful views of Himalayan peaks like Kedarnath Peak, Shivling, Trisul and Nanda Devi can be enjoyed. It is sometimes referred to as the Second Valley of Flowers as it turns beautifully red after the blooming of red-colored flowers in March. Oak trees and pine trees are found in plenty here

DAY 10: BINSAR - MUNSIYARI

Today drive to the Little Kashmir-Munsiyari. Later transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit

BIRTHI FALLS- Falling from the height of 126m, Birthi falls with lush green surroundings blooming in various colors, offers an extremely refreshing experience. 

PANCHACHULI PEAK- A prominent peak which is visible from all the main points of Pithoragarh district, Panchachuli peak looks majestic from Munsiyari. The beauty of the five peaks lying in the Johar Valley is captivating.

NANA DEVI TEMPLE- A 3km trekking from Munsiyari visit one of the ancient and oldest temples Nanda Devi temples, a pure epitome of creativity and architecture.

DAY 11: MUNSIYARI - PATAL BHUWANESHWAR

Today drive to a little town of Patal Bhuvaneshwar. Later transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit

PATAL BHUWANESHWAR TEMPLE- An ancient temple belonging to 12th century was constructed under the Chand and Katyuri dynasty. Located in the center of the town, the entrance of the temple is guarded by two idols of Jai and Vijay both holding weapons in their hands.

PATAL BHUWANESHWAR CAVES- One of the most mystical places, Patal Bhuvaneshwar Caves is a mesh of limestone in form of stalactites and stalagmites. These natural wonders resemble the tongue of Kali Bhairav, hairs of Lord Shiva, Aravati or Indra and many others.

DAY 12: PATAL BHUWANESHWAR - MUKTESHWAR

Today drive to the small hill town Mukteshwar. Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit

MUKTESHWAR TEMPLE- This is an ancient temple which is almost 350 years old situated on the top of the hill. The main deity of the temple is Lord Shiva, and the temple also consists of a Shiva Linga of white marble. The temple is beautiful and is identified as one of the eighteen most important temples dedicated to Lord Shiva in the Hindu scriptures.

CHAUTHI JAALI- Next to Mukteshwar temple is Chauthi Jaali, and area where it is believed that a Demon and a Goddess fought a battle. The place is marked with what is believed to be faint outlines of a sword, a shield and a trunk of an elephant.

SITLA- 6000 ft high, Sitla is a hill station popular for its colonial style bungalows. Tourists can engage in trekking expeditions of varying difficulty levels organized by the resorts in this area.

VIEW OF NANDA DEVI- Nanda Devi is the 2nd highest mountain peak in India and overall 23rd in the world. It stands as tall as 7,816 m above the sea level. This mountain peak is clearly visible from Mukteswar.

DAY 13: MUKTESHWAR - NAINITAL

In the morning drive to the Paradise City-Nainital. Later transfer to the hotel. After freshen up enjoy the scenic beauty of Nainital visiting

HANUMAN GARHI- This place is of religious importance. Situated at a height of 1951 meters this place was established by Baba Neem Kiroli. A very beautiful Hanuman mandir is at the top. From Hanuman Garhi watching the Sunset is very soothing.

NAINA DEVI TEMPLE- The attractive lake of Nainital is said to be the eyes of Sati, wife of Lord Shiva. Sati jumped into the sacrificial bonfire. Lord Shiva to mourn the death of his beloved wife carried the body across the country. The remains of her body fell at various places which today are sacred worship places for the Hindus.

ST. JOHNS CHURCH- This church was built in 1847. A brass memorial is kept in memory of the persons who were buried in the infamous landslide. The few bodies which could be dug out were buried in the church premises.

NAINI LAKE- Naini Lake or Naini Taal, the picturesque blue green lake is located in the district of Nainital. It is from this lake that the city of Nainital, the beautiful settlement by the lake, derives its name. Naini Lake is so called because of its eye-like shape.

NAINI PEAK- Known as the China peak this peak is the highest point in Nainital. From here Nainital appears as a bowl. You can walk or take ponies to the peak. From this peak you can capture the exciting views of Nainital. Naina peak also gives a good view of the Camelback peak.

OBSERVATORY- The clear skies over Nainital prompted the government to setup an observatory here. The observatory has one of the most advance telescopes in India. With the help of this telescope the movement of stars, planets and other heavenly bodies can be calculated to great precision.

ZOO GARDENS- Nainital has a small but a very beautiful Zoological garden. There are many animals kept here which includes Deers, Bears, Tigers and many more.

DAY 14: NAINITAL

Today morning visit the lakes

SATTAL (Seven Lakes) - On the way from Nainital to Bhimtal is a group of seven lakes called the Sattal. Nature has really provided this place beauty in abundance. 

BHIMTAL- The myth goes that the lake was built during the Mahabharata era. At Bhimtal you can enjoy boating and have food at the restaurant on the island in middle of the lake. Bhimtal is 23 kms from Nainital.

NAUKUCHITAL- Just four kms from Bhimtal is lake with nine corners hence it is known as the Naukutchia lake. This is an ideal place to spend your holidays and relax. The lake is full of lotus and is surrounded by forest with a backdrop of the mountains, all this creates an ideal condition to enjoy boating in here or sit on the banks and feel the breeze coming from the lake.

DAY 15: NAINITAL - DELHI

Day free for leisure and later, drive back to Delhi to catch your flights towards onward destination.
