OVERVIEW- Dehradun is a picturesque hill station in the charming Doon Valley. Dehradun has a close connection with the Indian mythology. Legend has it that it was founded by Guru Dronacharya, a famous character from the Indian epic- Mahabharata. It has always been an important religious center for Sikhs, Mughals and Gurkhas. Fondly known as the Queen of the Hill Stations, Mussoorie is a famous hill station situated in the foothills of the Himalayas. Mussoorie was discovered by Captain Young in the 18th century and serves as a perfect destination to escape from the heat of summers. Located at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level, on an amulet shaped ridge, Mussoorie, with its hill covered in lush trees and rich fauna species, attracts both domestic and foreign tourists. It offers amazing views of Shivalik range.
DELHI- New Delhi, capital of India is a mix of the ancient and modern architecture. This 3rd largest city of India unwinds a picture rich with culture, architecture, and human diversity. Divided in two parts, Old Delhi & New Delhi, the city is a travel hub of Northern India and exerts a beguiling charm on visitors.
DEHRADUN- This place is the gateway to the Garhwal region of Uttranchal. Dehradun is situated amidst the Himalayas, Shivaliks, Ganges and Yamuna. A picturesque valley, which was once the summer resort during the British rule. Temples, various institutions, avenues of adventure sports, abundance of special basmati rice, tea and leechi gardens, and sal forests have endowed this place to a paradise.
MUSSOORIE- It is among the most popular hill stations of India, and is called the Queen among the hill stations. A hill resort at a height of around 7000 ft above the sea level, straddles a ridge in the Garhwal Himalayas - a region which is developing into a major tourism destination. The holy and mighty river Ganga is visible from one end of the ridge and another famous river Yamuna from the other, a stretch of around twelve miles in all. It has always been a gossipy place - with an air of informality and a tradition of romance - The Honeymoon capital of India.
DHANAULTI- Dhanaulti is located near Mussoorie, in Uttarakhand. This small hill station is great for peace lovers. Dhanaulti is surrounded with beautiful mountains and wrapped with dense alpine, oak and rhododendron forests.

DAY 1: DELHI - DEHRADUN
Today drive Dehradun. Later transfer to the hotel. Evening free for leisure.

DAY 2: DEHRADUN
Next morning take on a city tour visiting
TAPKESHWAR- A cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva on the banks of a seasonal river. A picture-perfect beauty, there is a gushing river flowing by its sides that complement the main temple and other shrines studding the area with its pleasant cool waters.
MALSI DEER PARK- A good picnic spot, the park is as the name suggests home to the gentle and shy deer's who can be seen nibbling at the grass from a distance. A mini-zoo with children's park and lovely natural surroundings make it an ideal sightseeing cum picnic spot.
FOREST RESEARCH INSTITUTE- The biggest forest based product-training institute in India. . The Botanical Garden set in the campus is another attraction of the place.
SAHASTRADHARA- The sulphur springs have unique healing powers for certain diseases both in the early eastern and the western medical sciences. It is a place where tourists come in search for natural cure.
ROBBERS CAVE- Just beyond the Anarwala village, the famous Robber's Cave is a fabulous picnic spot, which is sure to delight the visitors.
TAPOVAN- Located on the banks of sacred Ganges, Tapovan holds a significant place in the religious domain of Dehradun. Legend says that Dronacharya underwent a severe penance at this particular place. Today, this place abounds with Sadhus and sages who believe that reparation and penance are the only way to please the almighty.

DAY 3: DEHRADUN - MUSSORIE
Today drive to the Queen of Hills-Mussoorie. Later transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can walk around the mall road, shopping and take on horse ride.
MALL ROAD- The Mall road is the central hub of the Mussoorie and is a must visit on your trip to the city. It has a bunch of places, couple of things and plenty of activities to do when on a vacation to the Mall Road.

DAY 4: MUSSORIE
In the blush of next morning take on a city tour visiting
CAMEL BACK ROAD- the place offers a picturesque view of the sunset; you can enjoy long walks and horse riding here. Camel's back road is a 3 km long road and is called as the Camel Back Road because of the presence of the natural layout of the rocks that are in the shape of the camel humps.
GUN HILL- A thrilling ropeway rides to Gun Hill, the second highest peak of Mussoorie (2122 mts). The peak offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges.
KEMPTY FALLS- Kempty Falls is the most famous and one of the oldest tourist places near Mussoorie. Developed before more than 150 yrs ago by a British man, Kempty falls is the most attractive picnic spot or a best day out place nearby Mussoorie at a distance of 15km.
BHATTA FALLS- At a distance of 7 kms, Bhatta Falls is a capital tourist picnic place near the Mussoorie. It is one of the important place where we do lots of enjoy with natures.
LAL TIBBA- Lal Tibba is the highest point perched at 2,346 meters above sea level. With some adorable and never seen before view of the mountains that house the holy shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath. Lai Tibba gives you a chance observe some of the most graphic views.
MUSSORIE LAKE- The lake is placed at 6km on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road. The Mussoorie Lake was recently developed as a picnic spot by the city board. A beautiful small lake, which is created by a nature waterfall.

DAY 5: MUSSOORIE - DHANAULTI - MUSSORIE
In the morning drive to Dhanaulti which is a small town near Mussoorie, beautifully nestled amid the lofty Himalayan peaks.
ECO PARK- The Eco Park, divided between Amber (sky) and Dhara (earth) parks, about 200 mts from each other. A botanical park housing a large variety of conifers and especially the native Deodars, the park is also to a few endangered aerial species. Sunset and sunrise are the best time to visit the Eco Park, with a beautiful multi hued sky view flanked by the deodars on all sides.
APPLE ORCHARD RESORT- For all fresh fruit fanatics, the Apple Orchard Resort is the home to wide variety of apples that are cultivated and sold here.
POTATO FARM- The Potato Farm is for the ones with a rustic heart, looking to experience nature in its most raw form. The Potato Farm, natively called the 'Aloo Khet' is spread across large strips of land, owned by the government and some private farmers.
Later return back to Mussoorie.
Overnight to Hotel.
DAY 6: MUSSOORIE - DELHI
Day free for leisure some popular activities that tourists can enjoy at the hill station include trekking, rock climb and hiking. Later, drive back to Delhi to catch your flights towards onward destination.
