MUMBAI- Mumbai
is the capital city of Maharashtra and is the financial powerhouse of the
country. Also well known commercial capital of India, fast paced cosmopolitan
city. This historic city, extends along the sea, has grand buildings and is the
center of India's Hindi film industry. The city is famous as the center of
glamour and glitz due to the presence of Indian film industry. Mumbai is also a
historical city having many attractions to offer to a visitor.
SHIRDI- Shirdi
is situated approximately 144 kilometers from Aurangabad. It is an important
excursion destination from Aurangabad and is considered as a holy place by the
Hindus. Innumerable tourists come throughout the year to visit the shrine of
Sidhi Sai Baba, located here. Apart from this, there are some more holy shrines
closely related to Sai Baba here.
AURANGABAD- Aurangabad
Known for its medieval monuments and cultural heritage, the city of Aurangabad
was the seat of the Mughal Empire for a short span. The town has derived its
name from Aurangzeb, the Mughal emperor, and it served as the headquarters
during his governorship over Deccan. It is a world famous city due to the
presence of the Ajanta and Ellora caves regarded as the world heritage sites.
These sites have Buddhist, Jain and Hindu temples.
PUNE- Pune is
an important town of Maharashtra and is also known as Oxford of the East due
to the presence of a large number of prestigious education institutes. Its
ancient forts, caves, temples and bewitching natural beauty are some of the
irresistible temptations for the travelers. The second largest city of
Maharashtra, Pune, is the place which was home to the Maratha leader, Shivaji
for a long time. This calm city was also resided by the self-proclaimed guru, Bhagwan
Rajneesh, also known as Osho.

DAY 1: MUMBAI
Arrive in Mumbai and later transfer to the hotel. After breakfast, full day city tour of Mumbai.
GATEWAY OF INDIA- The Gateway of India was built during the British Raj in Mumbai. Located on the waterfront in the Apollo Bunder area in South Mumbai, the monument is companioned by the Arabian Sea.
PRINCE OF WALES MUSEUM- The Museum of Western India is the main museum in Mumbai. The museum is located in the heart of South Mumbai near the Gateway of India. The museum building is built in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, incorporating elements of other styles of architecture like the Mughal, Maratha, Jain, etc and the museum building is surrounded by a garden of palm trees and formal flower beds.
TARAPOREWALA AQUARIUM- Taraporewala Aquarium on Marine Drive has a good collection of sea and fresh water fish and other marine life.
CHOWPATTY BEACH & MARINE DRIVE- It is one of the most famous public beaches in Mumbai. The beach is famous for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Marine Drive is a 3-kilometre-long boulevard in South Mumbai. It is a 'C'-shaped six-lane concrete road along the coast, which is a natural bay and links Nariman Point to Babulnath and Malabar Hill.
KAMLA NEHRU PARK- The park covers an area of 4,000 square feet. Located atop of Mumbai's Malabar Hill, it is named after Kamala Nehru, the wife of India's first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru.
HANGING GARDEN- These Gardens are terraced gardens perched at the top of Malabar Hill, on its western side, just opposite the Kamala Nehru Park.

DAY 2: MUMBAI
Today continue sightseeing of Mumbai viewing.
SIDDHIVINAYAK TEMPLE- The temple is devoted to Ganesh, the elephant headed God for Good Fortune.
ISKCON TEMPLE- Hare Krishna Land is set upon four acres of prime land and a stone throw away from Juhu beach, Mumbai. Founder of ISKCON inspired the construction of one of India's most beautiful temple of Lord Krishna in Mumbai.
JUHU BEACH- Juhu Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Mumbai. The beach is famous for its Mumbai street food, notably bhelpuri, pani puri, and pav bhaji. Juhu beach is also a very popular place for watching aircraft as planes from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

DAY 3: MUMBAI - SHIRDI
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the holy shrine of Shirdi. Transfer to hotel. After lunch visit.
SHIRDI SAI TEMPLE- It is a beautiful shrine that was built over the Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba. Shirdi is famous temple of Shri Sai Baba. The temples to visit in Shirdi are Saibaba temple & other temples like Dwarkamai, Chavdi, Khandoba Temple, Nand deep, Sai Museum.

DAY 4: SHIRDI - AURANGABAD
Early morning you can have first Darshan at Sai Baba Temple. After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Aurangabad. Transfer to hotel. Evening free for leisure activities.

DAY 5: AURANGABAD
After breakfast, full day city tour of Aurangabad.
DAULATABAD FORT- The Fort is a 14th century fort situated about 16 kms from Aurangabad, in a town called Daulatabad or Devagiri. Considered to be one of the seven wonders of Maharashtra today, Devagiri was famous in historical times as the capital of the Tughlaq dynasty. Located on the top of a conical hill, this triangular fort also carries the distinction of having remained undefeated in battle.
AURANGABAD CAVES- Excavated from the soft rock during the 6th and 7th century, the caves are divided into two separate locations - Western Group Caves having caves 1-5 and Eastern Group Caves having caves 6-10, located 1 km from apart. The image and designing is molded by Tantric Hinduism.
GRIHNESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA TEMPLE- Being one of the 12 Jyotirlinga's, the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is a popular attraction in the religious tourism circuit of Maharashtra. Located about 30kms from Aurangabad, built of red rocks, the temple was built pre-historic architectural style complete with 5 tiered shikhara. It is said, holy water springs from inside the temple.
ELLORA CAVES- It showcases the experiments that had carried out by Hindu, Buddhist and Jain monks some 600 to 300 years back. It is believed that the structures were carved between 350 AD to 700 AD. It is an archaeological site, around 29 km from Aurangabad. Ellora caves are a UNESCO world heritage site.

DAY 6: AURANGABAD
After breakfast, full day city tour of Aurangabad.
AJANTA CAVES- One of the oldest caves in the country, the Ajanta Caves are 30 odd rock-cut caves that date back to the second century BC. These Buddhist monuments are known for their murals, paintings and sculptures that have defined Indian art over time. Today, they are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India.
BIBI KA MAQBARA- A replica of the Taj Mahal, the Bibi-ka-Maqbara is the only example of Mughul architecture of its kind in the Deccan plateau. It was built in 1679 by Aurangzeb's son, in tribute to his mother, Begum Rabia Durani. Due to its resemblance to the Taj Mahal, it is also called the Dakkhani Taj (Taj of the Deccan).

DAY 7: AURANGABAD - PUNE
Drive toward the vibrant city of Pune. Transfer to hotel. After freshen up, visit the city.
AGA KHAN PALACE- It is one of the most historic and magnificent structures in the country. It was built by Sultan Muhammed Shah Aga Khan III in the year 1892. Its primary historic significance in India is that it was used as prison for Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi, his secretary Mahadev Desai and Sarojini Naidu following the Quit India movement of 1942.
SHANIWAR WADA- Shaniwar Wada was the seat of the Peshwas at the height of Maratha empire. It is a testimony to the Maratha glory and valor. Its architectural design shows influences of Mughal style and features of Maratha artistic styles. The 21-feet tall entrance of the palace is known as Delhi Darwaza.
OSHO ASHRAM- The Ashram is a tranquil place which brings you own centers of peace, meditation & oneness. The ideologies of Osho also can be found here. People visit the Osho Ashram to mediate, facilitate and channelize their inner thoughts and feelings and usually to reconnect with their inner being.
PATALESHWAR CAVE TEMPLE- The Temples is dedicated to Lord Pataleshwar- the God of Underwater and Lord Shiva. The design of these temples is similar to those of Elephanta Cave. It was constructed in 8th century and many of its stones date back to 700 to 800 AD. It is also known for its museum which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records. The museum is known for the grain of rice which has 5000 characters inscribed on it.

DAY 8: PUNE - MUMBAI
After breakfast, later travel back to Mumbai to catch your flight/train towards onward destination.
