OVERVIEW- A picturesque hill station located 1000 meters above the sea level, Saputara, literally meaning Abode of Serpents, is located in the forest region of Dangs of Sahyadri Ranges. The weather of this hill station remains cool throughout the year. As per Hindu Mythology, Lord Ram spent his 11 years of exile in the dense forests of Saputara. There is a deity of a serpent placed on the banks of River Sarpaganga.

The city's prosperous and eventful past and present is embodied in its rich kaleidoscope of history, art and culture, rich architecture and imposing monuments. The city is a famous business hub and is well known for chemical and textile industries.
SAPUTARA- Gujarat's most popular hill resort, Saputara literally means the Abode of Serpents and is situated on top of the second highest plateau in the Sahyadri range in the center of thick forests. The place offers breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset.

Drive towards the hill station of Saputara. Transfer to hotel. In the evening you can visit the picturesque Saputara Lake for boating.
SAPUTARA LAKE- A serene and scenic picnic spot Saputara Lake is located in the heartland of Saputara Valley. The surrounding area of the lake is equipped with many facilities for amusement such as Playgrounds and Children's Park. Boating in the Saputara Lake is a wonderful experience. The lake and the surrounding amusement facilities attract both domestic and foreign tourists.

PANDAVA CAVES- Also known as Aravalem Caves, Pandava Caves are associated with the Pandavas, the great warriors of the epic Mahabharata. These caves are located in the Valpai town in the North Goa district. It is believed that Pandavas rested here for sometime during their exile in the forests. There is an impressive Shivling in the cave which were used by Pandavas to offer their prayers to Lord Shiva.
SUNSET POINT- Also known as Gandhi Shikhar, Sunset Point in Satpura offers an enchanting view of sunset. The point offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding tribal villages in their natural splendor. There are two ways to reach the Sunset Point by using ropeway or via climbing the hills.
