RAJKOT- Once the capital of the princely state of Saurashtra, Rajkot is now an important industrial city of the West Indian state of Gujarat. It is also popular as the place where Mahatma Gandhi had spent the initial years of his life and gained early education from a school. Home to some striking gardens, ashrams, lakes and temples, Rajkot is also quite popular for its handicraft items, jewelry market and special tie and dye or Bandhani, a beautiful cloth material.
SURAT- It is the important trading center and port of ancient India, the city of Textile mills. It is also famous for its zari and brocades and is also an important diamond cutting centre. It is a city of gems and diamonds. Located on the southern bank of Tapti, Surat is renowned for its fine silk and exquisite brocades like the Tanchoi, Gajee and Kinkhab styles sometimes woven with gold and silver threads. It is also famous for spices and its diamond market as well as ivory and wood artwork of rare beauty.
AHMEDABAD- It is the largest city in Gujarat, associated with the great thinker and freedom fighter, Mahatma Gandhi. It is an exclusive blend of Hindu and Islamic styles of architecture. The city's prosperous and eventful past and present is embodied in its rich kaleidoscope of history, art and culture, rich architecture and imposing monuments. The city is a famous business hub and is well known for chemical and textile industries.

RANI RUPMATI MASJID- This mosque was named for the princess of Dhar who married the Sultan of Ahmedabad. This mosque is one more example of the Indo-Sarcenic blended style of architecture.
KANKARIA LAKE- Kankaria Lake is the biggest lake in the city. This place is the famous leisure place for the tourist. In the heart of the lake is an island patch with a summer palace known as Nagina Wadi. The lake is a popular amusement center, surrounded by parks, an aquarium, a boat club, a natural historical museum and a zoo.
GHANDHI ASHRAM- Gandhi Ashram is established by Mahatma Gandhi on a calm stretch of the Sabarmati river in 1917. During the life span of Mahatma Gandhi it was known as Satyagraha Ashram and was the midpoint of India's freedom movement. The ashram now has a museum, the Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalay.
ISKCON TEMPLE- The temple with its calm and peaceful environment offers the perfect spot to spend some quiet time with oneself. This temple is devoted to Lord Krishna and his companion Radha. This is one of the most beautiful temples of the city.
